Vitor Roque has shared progress from his rehabilitation after a left ankle syndesmosis injury.
The injury occurred against Jacuipense at Allianz Parque in the first leg of the fifth phase of the Copa do Brasil, and he underwent surgery on one May. According to Nosso Palestra, there is no official return date, but the initial plan is for the number nine to be back in August.
Roque has been working indoors at Palmeiras’ academy and shared his recovery routine on social media.
Staff in the club’s health and performance unit are taking a cautious approach, given the injury’s direct impact on joint stability.
He will be assessed daily, so the timeline could change as the process unfolds.
The World Cup break will be important for intensifying his rehabilitation.
