Vojvoda tops fan poll to replace Renato Gaúcho at Vasco | OneFootball

According to Globo.com, a fan poll made Juan Pablo Vojvoda the preferred choice to replace Renato Gaúcho at Vasco, with over 33.6% selecting the Argentine, who left Santos in March.

Tite polled 16.27% and Hernán Crespo 13.54% in the same vote.

Vojvoda has been linked with Racing in Argentina, and no agreement has yet been announced.

The expectation is that the board will settle on a new appointment in the coming days.

The squad are due back from their break on Monday to resume work aimed at lifting Vasco out of the relegation zone. The team sit 17th in the Brasileirão with 20 points.

Renato Gaúcho left on Thursday after pressure on his position, which began with relationship issues with the squad and reached the board.
