Vojvoda’s Santos seek improvement after break ahead of Mirassol test | OneFootball

Santos and Juan Pablo Vojvoda have had a short pause, plus days off, before visiting Mirassol on Tuesday 10 at 21:30 at José Maria de Campos Maia, in the fifth round of the Brasileirão.

According to Diario Do Peixe, the Argentine has twice benefited from FIFA windows to work with his squad.

On arrival he drew 0-0 with Fluminense at Vila Belmiro, then from one to nine September came a break. After it, Santos drew 1-1 with Atlético-MG at Arena MRV.

Another window ran from six to 14 October. Before that pause the side lost 3-0 to Ceará at Arena Castelão, then returned to beat Corinthians 3-1 at Vila Belmiro.

A further window, 10 to 18 November, was interrupted when the CBF rescheduled the Palmeiras clássico. The sequence was a 3-2 defeat at Flamengo in the Maracanã, then a 1-0 win over Palmeiras and a 1-1 draw with Mirassol, both at Vila Belmiro.

Across 31 matches under Vojvoda there have been 10 wins, 12 draws and nine defeats, with 44 scored and 36 conceded, yielding 42 points from 93, a 45 percent return.

At home there have been 15 games, seven wins, six draws and two defeats, 25 for and 13 against, a 60 percent return. Away, three wins in 16, plus six draws and seven defeats, 19 scored and 23 conceded, for 31 percent.
