Wales call-ups for West Brom and Wolves duo before Black Country derby | OneFootball

Wales have named West Brom’s Chris Mepham and Wolves’ Jordan James in their squad for the extended international window, days before the Black Country derby at Molineux.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, the rivals meet on Sunday then join Craig Bellamy’s group as the Nations League begins across September and October.

Wales travel to Portugal on 24 September and Denmark on 27 September, then host Norway on 1 October in group D.

James, 22, has 26 caps, while Mepham, 28, can win a 56th cap for his country.

Albion attacking star Isaac Price has also been called up by Northern Ireland.

He turns 23 later this month and has 10 goals in 32 caps for Michael O’Neill’s side.

Northern Ireland face Georgia on 25 September, Hungary on 28 September, Ukraine on 2 October and Georgia again on 5 October.

Baggies star Callum Styles is expected to receive a Hungary call-up.

Villa’s John McGinn is set for cap number 90 for Scotland as boss Sebastien Pocognoli, the former Albion defender, starts his regime.
