Wallace to fund air conditioning for CRB academy canteen after Grêmio switch | OneFootball

CRB academy graduate and centre-back Wallace will pay to install air conditioning in the academy canteen at CT Ninho do Galo as he departs to join Grêmio.

He said he owes the club for his development and hopes the units bring more comfort to academy youngsters. According to Globo.com, the board preferred not to comment, and the club will buy the equipment with Wallace covering the cost.

CRB sold 50% of his economic rights to Grêmio for R$ three million, retaining the other 50%.

The 21-year-old arrived at CRB in 2022 and signed his first professional deal in 2023. In 2024 he won the Alagoano under-20 title, then was promoted to the first team.

At senior level he lifted the Alagoano in 2024, 2025 and 2026. This season he made 19 appearances for CRB, six in Série B.

Under Eduardo Barroca he did not establish himself as a starter, but was among the first alternatives from the bench, also covering as a defensive midfielder and right-back.
