Walsall have signed Coventry City midfielder Isaac Moore on a season-long loan.
ExpressAndStar.com reports that the 20-year-old becomes the Saddlers’ fifth addition of the summer and their first loan of the window.
Moore impressed for Forest Green Rovers in the National League last season, scoring four and providing four assists in 25 appearances.
He was recalled by Coventry earlier this year, then finished the 2025-26 campaign with hometown side Solihull Moors, scoring twice in 13 games.
A Coventry academy graduate, he signed his first professional deal aged 17 in 2023. After two lengthy spells on the sidelines, he returned late in 2024-25 and was named in Frank Lampard’s squad for four matches.
He agreed a three-year contract with the Sky Blues in June last year and now embarks on his first EFL loan.
Moore said the move had been in the pipeline for weeks, felt the club was the right fit, and wants to win games while developing. He added he is eager for a first taste of EFL football and to play in front of the fans.
Head coach Lee Grant said Walsall had monitored him for some time, highlighting his motivation, experience at Forest Green and Solihull, and eagerness to learn and give everything on the pitch.
Walsall’s summer business so far includes Andrew Dallas, Lewis Simper, Sven Sprangler, James Connolly and Moore on loan.
