Walsall have signed Coventry City midfielder Isaac Moore on a season-long loan.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, the 20-year-old is the Saddlers' fifth addition of the summer and their first loan of the window.
Moore impressed at Forest Green Rovers in the National League last term, scoring four and providing four assists in 25 appearances. He was recalled by Coventry earlier this year, then finished 2025-26 with hometown club Solihull Moors, netting twice in 13 games.
The academy graduate signed his first professional deal with Coventry aged 17 in 2023. After two lengthy injury lay-offs he returned late in 2024-25 and was named in Frank Lampard’s squad for four matches. He agreed a three-year contract with the Sky Blues in June last year and now embarks on his first EFL loan.
Moore said the move had been in the pipeline for weeks and that he was eager to finalise it. He feels Walsall is a good fit, wants to win games and believes the focus on development could bring the best out of him. He looks forward to first EFL football, learning from staff and playing in front of the fans.
Head coach Lee Grant said Walsall had monitored Moore for some time and described him as highly motivated. He highlighted the midfielder’s recent experiences and his eagerness to learn, develop and give his all.
Moore follows Andrew Dallas, Lewis Simper, Sven Sprangler and James Connolly among the club’s summer arrivals.
