Paris Saint-Germain sealed their 14th Ligue 1 crown with a 2-0 win at Lens in a rearranged matchday 29 game. It is their fifth straight title and they are nine points clear with one match left, so cannot be caught.

According to L'Équipe, PSG did not overwhelm the division as in the past two seasons, yet kept their nerve amid fierce Lens pressure. They have also reached the Champions League final against Arsenal, on 30 May at 18:00 in Budapest.

In a marathon campaign, Warren Zaïre-Emery was ever present. The 20-year-old was the most used player with 31 appearances and 2,396 minutes, shining in midfield and at right-back when covering for Achraf Hakimi.

With pre-season shortened by Club World Cup involvement until mid-July, Luis Enrique prioritised player conditioning. He leaned on league minutes for Lee Kang-in, Senny Mayulu, Gonçalo Ramos and Illia Zabarnyi, and the blend largely worked. Paris shed few points to strugglers and their defeats came only against European calibre sides, including Marseille, Rennes, Monaco and Lyon.

Lens pushed them deep into spring. The decisive swing arrived on matchday 23, 21 February, when Monaco overturned a 2-0 deficit at Bollaert to win 3-2 with three goals between minutes 63 and 72. Paris beat Metz 3-0 a few hours later, reclaimed first place and did not relinquish it.
