Members of the first-team ranks at Spanish football’s two biggest clubs were spotted in a warm exchange, after reuniting on international duty this week.

The pair in question? Lamine Yamal, and Dani Carvajal.

Attacker Lamine and defender Carvajal were both afforded places in Luis de la Fuente’s latest Spain squad.

This comes ahead of an upcoming World Cup qualifying double-header against Bulgaria and Turkey.

The pair, in turn, could even join forces down La Roja’s right flank over the next week.

As proved the case with the majority of Spain’s squad, Lamine and Carvajal reconvened on Monday, with a view to an incoming training camp over the next couple of days.

And the pair, upon crossing paths, put club rivalries very much to one side.

This came as the compatriots came together for a warm embrace, followed by a friendly chat.
