A headline member of the attacking ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona has on Wednesday linked up with the rest of Hansi Flick’s squad for pre-season training.

The Blaugrana star in question? Raphinha.

Wide-man Raphinha is for his part fresh off what proved to be a hugely disappointing summer on the international front. After suffering an injury setback early in Brazil’s campaign at the World Cup, the former Leeds United man was forced to watch on from the sidelines as Carlo Ancelotti’s troops were sent packing in the Round-of-16.

He was from here granted several weeks of vacation, to recover and recharge his batteries ahead of another long season ahead at club level.

And as alluded to above, on Wednesday, Raphinha’s holiday was officially brought to an end.

The 29-year-old was spotted by the media upon his arrival at St. George’s Park in Staffordshire, England, ahead of kickstarting his pre-season training schedule alongside the rest of Barcelona’s squad.
