A real Captain’s performance from Bruno Guimaraes.
He never stopped trying to get Newcastle United over the winning line at St James’ Park and it was very apt that the Newcastle United skipper scored the winner himself.
The man of the match display from Bruno Guimaraes topped off with that 90th minute finish, having sprinted up the pitch to be in the perfect place when Leno could only parry Will Osula’s shot.
We are so lucky as Newcastle United fans to have a Captain such as this Brazil international.
The great thing is as well, that Bruno Guimaraes loves Newcastle fans and this club, just as much as we love him.
Bruno Guimaraes interviewed by Andy Sixsmith following the NUFC Captain’s match winning performance against Fulham:
“I was so pleased to score in my 150th start for this great club.
“An unbelievable moment.
“My whole family are here today. My Mum, Dad, wife and kids – everyone in this stadium – so to score a goal like that, end of the game at the Gallowgate End is so special.
“I want to do 11 celebrations again!
“This is the Newcastle United I know.
“We fight until the end.”
