Now, midfielder Dani Olmo has also delivered his message to the fans. Taking to his X account, the Spaniard thanked the supporters for standing behind the team throughout the year while also making it clear that the squad’s ambitions remain as high as ever heading into next season.

It is easy to decipher what dream Dani Olmo is talking about, as Flick and several Barcelona players have already talked about their desire to win the UEFA Champions League.

For Olmo personally, the season was an important one despite some physical setbacks along the way. The attacking midfielder missed eight matches through injury but still ended the campaign with 49 appearances across all competitions, including 31 starts.

The former RB Leipzig star contributed seven goals and eight assists in La Liga while also playing an important role in both the Champions League and the Copa del Rey. His ability to operate between the lines added creativity and fluidity to Barcelona’s attack throughout the season.

Olmo also finished the campaign strongly, making 32 consecutive appearances and starting seven of Barcelona’s last nine matches. The Terrassa-born midfielder will now head into the World Cup full of confidence after another successful year in Blaugrana colours.
