Kevin Hatchard: The last defeat Liverpool suffered was the dismal 4-1 home reverse against PSV in the Champions League, and Slot has made clear trade-offs to make his team more stable and difficult to beat. In those 12 unbeaten games, Liverpool have conceded just 10 goals, but the caveat is that they have scored multiple goals in just seven of those matches.
Despite their long unbeaten run, I just can't get on board with Liverpool's price of 2.04 to win this. Yes, they won at Inter, but that was courtesy of a controversial late penalty in what was a very tight game, and I'm not convinced Liverpool can withstand Marseille's attacking firepower.
I will, however, back the resurgent Florian Wirtz to score or assist here at 6/5. The market is expecting goals (Over 2.5 Goals is 1.71), and Wirtz has delivered a goal or an assist in five of his last seven competitive appearances.

Paul Higham: Pafos have been a surprise package so far with six points more than many thought they'd manage - they've had two draws away from home and held out at Juventus for over an hour before losing 2-0.
But they're 20/1 underdogs for a reason as they're massively overmatched against 2/15 Chelsea, who've won three out of three at Stamford Bridge and conceded just once, so it's worth backing a home clean sheet.
As a bonus, add in 14+ fouls from the visitors which they've managed four times in the competition this season.

Paul Higham: PSV have been involved in some highlight reel matches - beating Liverpool 4-1 at Anfield, Napoli 6-2 at home and losing 3-2 to Atletico Madrid last time out. Given how Newcastle's home games have gone recently this could be a goalfest.
Eddie Howe's men ran out of steam a bit against Man City in the Carabao Cup and away at Wolves, but the arrival of a team like PSV should provoke more juice in this game.
Defeat against City snapped a run of 13 straight home games with Newcastle scoring 2+ goals so expect them to get back in the goals. PSV also bring a big threat so look for a fast start for both of them.

Jack Critchley: Southampton's miserable run of form continued at the weekend. Tonda Eckert is under increasing pressure with his side having squandered possession and presented several opportunities to Hull. The hosts have a 0-3-4 record since 9th December, and this is a tough-looking contest for the out-of-form hosts.
Despite hinting at a change of formation, Eckert has stuck rigidly to a 3-4-3 in the Championship, and it has failed to pay dividends. They have conceded six goals across their last two outings and failed to contain League One Doncaster in the FA Cup.
Sheffield United were always likely to face an uphill challenge with just nine men on the field away to Charlton. The Blades had produced some nice moments prior to the double dismissal, and it is just one of those games which simply has to be written off as an anomaly. Chris Wilder's side shouldn't lose any confidence from that display, and they should be able to take advantage of the fragile hosts.

Jack Critchley: The Potters are excellent at restricting their opponents, and arrive off the back of four consecutive clean sheets in league and cup. When hosting top six sides, they have managed to make themselves fairly obstinate and managed to keep Coventry off the scoresheet until the 86th minute.
Middlesbrough were involved in a topsy-turvy encounter at the Hawthorns, but this will surely be a completely different task for Kim Hellberg's men. Boro will have to be patient and clinical if they wish to take all three points back to Teesside and there's a small chance that they may have to settle for a draw. We have seen their wasteful side this season and they cannot afford to squander opportunities, as they may not come around too often on Wednesday night.
