Werder Bremen have missed out on Willem Geubbels, who has decided against joining the Bundesliga club.

According to BuLi News, the 25-year-old, currently at Paris FC, has chosen not to make the move.

He is instead set to continue his career in Italy with Lecce.

Bremen had reportedly made an enquiry as they looked to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new season.

The club will now explore alternative targets in the transfer market.
