Wesley Gassova’s short stint at Real Sociedad has ended, placing him among the club’s least used foreign players. He was brought in during January after Take Kubo was injured against Barcelona, AS reports.

Real Sociedad confirmed his departure, alongside Duje Caleta-Car, after both loans expired and the options to buy were not taken up. The Brazilian featured for only 85 minutes across five matches.

Even so, he is not the least used foreign footballer in the club’s history, his total leaves him around the middle of that list. Belgian Peiremans tops it for 2000-01 with zero official games. Just above come French player Boukary Dramè in 2008-09 and the Turkish player Arif Erdem in 2000-01, both with two.

Next is Ivorian Giovanni Sio with three in 2008-09, followed by French midfielder Stephan Collet, who made six in 2000-01. With five, Wesley Gassova sits just behind those marks.

Above him are Cameroonian Frank Songo’o, eight outings in 2009-10, and Welsh David Vaughan with nine in 2007-08.
