The 28-year-old shot-stopper has rebuilt his reputation as a No.1 at Liga MX club FC Juárez
Championship pair West Bromwich Albion and Queens Park Rangers reportedly have Mexican goalkeeper Sebastián Jurado on their shortlist as a possible signing for next summer.
The 28-year-old shot-stopper has rebuilt his reputation as a first-choice stopper at Liga MX club FC Juárez after a somewhat tough spell at league rivals Cruz Azul, where he only played 43 times across four seasons.
Under former Glasgow Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha, Jurado has kept three clean sheets in 19 league games so far this season for Juarez - but he could soon make the move to the EFL, although not as soon as the current transfere window.

According to FOX Sports Mexico’s Europe correspondent, Daniel Reyes, West Brom and QPR have Jurado on their summer transfer window agendas.
Translated from Spanish, Reyes revealed via X, "I understand that there is interest from England regarding Sebastián Jurado. He would be on a list of options for QPR and West Brom to bolster their goalkeeping in the summer.
"For now, it's only known that he's in the mix, but it's good news that a Mexican player is of interest in Europe."
The subsequent report notes that Jurado was never able to secure a starting berth with Azul over another keeper - which explains why he only featured sparingly for years, so there’s every chance he has Caixinha to thank for his up-turn in game time.
However, there is no mention of why the Baggies or the R's hold interest in the Mexico youth international, just that there’s no imminent move expected before the current transfer window closes on the Febraury 2, despite the fact that both clubs could do with strengthening their goalkeeping departments imminently.
Jurado remains under contract at Juarez until December 2027, as per transfermarkt, so regardless of if any concrete offers come from this speculation, either West Brom or QPR would have to pay some sort of fee.

In Albion's case, it seems from this transfer link that they're content with first-choice Josh Griffiths until the end of the season - who's kept four clean sheets in the Championship this season.
However, what could be important is that back-up goalkeeper Joe Wildsmith's contract expires in the summer - when any Jurado move is likely to take place, according to the aforementioned report.
When Ryan Mason was still at the helm, he decided to drop Griffiths in his final games in charge of West Brom and opted to play Wildsmith instead - which didn't go down too well.
QPR's goalkeeping situation has also been a mess this season, as described by FLW's Fan Pundit for the West London club, Louis Moir, who claimed: "The three goalkeepers that we've got - Nardi being dropped at the start of the season, Walsh coming in and him not being good enough, then Hamer coming in then swapping between Hamer and Nardi.
"It's been a bit of a mess and it's a shame, because Nardi was quite good for us last season, but he's just looked so poor, this year."
For whatever reason, Jurado has reportedly attracted the attention of two clubs in the Championship who are arguably struggling the most with their goalkeeping departments.
But neither West Brom nor QPR seem in a rush to get the issue fixed this winter transfer window, even though there's seemingly issues in-between the sticks for both clubs that need to be addressed sooner rather than later.
