West Brom player ratings after final friendly win, new boy Nolan Galves impresses | OneFootball

West Brom signed off pre-season with a win at London Road, debutant Nolan Galves impressing and Aune Heggebo on target. Peterborough offered little threat at London Road.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, Max O’Leary earned 6 after alert sweeping. Galves was exciting with an 8, delivering quality crosses off both feet. Nat Phillips took 7 for rugged work, George Campbell captained calmly for 7, and Callum Styles recovered from a first-half knock to help the opener, rated 6.

Harry Whitwell’s mixed 7 reflected a busy display and involvement in the first goal. Ousmane Diakite used the ball neatly for 6, while Jayson Molumby, booked for a shirt pull, was busy and flicked smartly in the build-up, taking 7. Isaac Price threatened throughout and crossed for Heggebo’s finish, also 7.

Jimmy-Jay Morgan, against his former club, worked hard without scoring for 6. Heggebo battled defenders and led the line, rated 6.

On 68 minutes Conor Townsend returned for 6, Mikey Johnston operated centrally and supplied an assist for 7, Barney Stewart finished coolly for 7 but missed late on, and Alex Williams took 6. Alex Mowatt, Matty Crowther and Ollie Bostock arrived on 77 with no rating. Unused substitutes were Ingram, Cisse, Bielik, Gilchrist and Mepham.
