West Ham United are monitoring FC Midtjylland forward Franculino Dju as they look to strengthen their attack this summer, according to ExWHUEmployee.

Manager Nuno Espirito wants attackers capable of helping the club secure an immediate return to the Premier League.

Dju has been a transfer target for a while, but signing him could prove tricky as he has plenty of interest across Europe.

Everton and Fulham want to bring the 22-year-old Guinea-Bissau international to the Premier League.

Dju bagged 22 goals in 34 games across all competitions last season.

The West Ham target impressed in the opening phase of the Europa League, bagging three goals in five appearances.

Dju has been consistent in the Danish Superliga across the last three seasons, bagging 55 goals and 13 assists in 107 games.

While Dju is primarily a striker, he can also feature on the right wing. He has what it takes to hit the ground running in the Championship.

However, the Benfica academy graduate could prefer a move to the Premier League, and he is not short of suitors across top-flight leagues in Europe.

Everton and Fulham will also be able to come closer to what Midtjylland want, which could be bad news for the Hammers.

West Ham have been linked with several attackers this summer, and Dju is not believed to be the utmost priority.

They will look to recruit quality players across every position, but are hoping to keep hold of some of their key players.
