The season ticket renewal time is almost upon us, in fact it seems to be a little later than usual, although due to our current predicament, it shouldn’t come as that much of a surprise that our custodians are holding off on any announcement.
With the cost of living rising yet again, but wage increases not as generous for the ordinary working person the Celtic hierarchy have a big decision ahead of them, and face a very difficult task to persuade frustrated supporters to renew in the usual high numbers.

I personally want to renew, something I’ve done for many years, but I want to see positive action from those who wield all the power and influence at Celtic park. Not words, but actions that involve the removal of the incompetent shysters who call themselves board members.
I want to see them replaced with competent figures, and I want to see the overall majority of all our hard earned money invested on the playing front.
I want a manager placed in charge, that will excite the supporters. I want him to be allowed to bring in quality players of his choice, within reason of course, as we know our limitations. But let’s show some ambition and break our transfer record, bring in a quality centre forward, a winger who can take on a man, a defensive midfielder with some steel and grit, a decent centre back, a reliable goalkeeper.

It’s not too much to ask is it? No it’s not, we have the resources after all, but we just need the right folk to utilise them.
My message to the powers that be at Celtic Park is, don’t take the supporters for granted, not everyone is willing to sign on for another campaign, unless they get some positive reassurances of our ambitions going forward.
We need actions, not words if we are to even think about parting with our hard earned cash. We’ve been fooled before, we won’t be fooled again.
Just an Ordinary Bhoy
