He came back to defend when needed and was a threat at times inside the opponent’s half.

CM: Adam Wharton – 8/10

Wharton ran the show well from midfield and was a constant menace in the final third.

He worked his socks off at the centre of the park.

LM: Tyrick Mitchell – 6.5/10

He put in a tireless shift on the left flank but missed a great chance in the latter stages of the first half.
