Speculation has surrounded Rayan Kolli's immediate future at QPR in recent weeks
Rayan Kolli has reaffirmed his commitment to QPR amid speculation over his future with the club.
The 20-year-old has come through the London outfit’s academy system, but has struggled to make much of an impression under Julien Stéphan.
The forward has made just five appearances in the Championship so far this season, with only one of those coming as a starter.
Kolli last featured in the team in their 2-1 win over Bristol City in October, with the winger unable to earn a more prominent place in the team.
This had led to some speculation over his future at Loftus Road as we quickly approach the January transfer window.

Kolli has quashed any speculation surrounding his future at QPR, suggesting that he is working hard to get back into Stéphan’s first team plans.
He admitted that he turned down opportunities previously to leave Loftus Road, and that his commitment is with the Championship side as he wants to do something special at the club where he’s spent most of his life so far.
“I turned down opportunities elsewhere to stay at the club I have been at for almost all my life, because I want to do something special here.
“Playing for the first team squad was my dream as a kid because it was all we were told growing up.
“Every time I put the top on I understand the weight it carries and that’s something I do not take for granted.
“I just want to let you know that I am doing everything in my power to get myself back on that pitch to keep proving to you all week in week out that I am capable of playing at this level and beyond.
“As we all know, the manager has to make decisions and whether I agree or not, I have to respect it and keep working until the chance that I have been working for arrives.”
Kolli also eased any concerns over his representatives meddling in his career, including his dad, defending his recent comments about the player’s lack of minutes for QPR.
“I have also seen a lot of talk regarding my support team,” he continued.
“I have only ever been advised to make the right decisions in my career, by both my father and my representatives.
“For that, I would like to say that I am grateful for everyone in my circle for having my best interests at heart.
“My father has played a significant role in getting me to where I am today, he has driven up and down the country and across Europe just to watch me play.
“Without his dedication and support I would not be the player I am today.
“I understand sometimes he can be emotional and say things that can be misinterpreted by people.
“However, this is also his first time hearing things being said about his son and as any father would do, they will protect their son.”
QPR are currently 16th in the Championship table, having earned 19 points from their opening 15 fixtures.
The London outfit finished 15th last season, so are hoping to improve on that position under Stéphan, who was appointed as Martí Cifuentes’ successor in the summer.
The Hoops are winless in their last four league fixtures, including losing each of their last three games, which has left them six points adrift of the play-off places going into the current international break.
Next up for QPR is a home clash against Hull City on 22 November in a 3pm kick-off.

Kolli coming out and addressing this situation clears up the speculation over his future, and should put this issue to bed for the time being.
He hasn’t been able to convince Stéphan that he deserves more game time, but their recent dip in form could offer him a chance to get back in the side after the international break.
Kolli is also still 20, and already has over 30 league games under his belt, which is solid experience to have at this stage of his career.
His father has a great emotional attachment to how his son’s career fares, and his public comments should always be taken with a grain of salt by supporters on that basis.
