Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool to learn last-16 opponents
Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool, Manchester City and Newcastle will learn their opponents in the last 16 of the Champions League when the draw takes place in Nyon.
Six Premier League clubs have reached the knockout stage and, following the conclusion this week of the play-off round, they are set to discover their route to the final.
Arsenal finished top of the league phase with eight wins from eight and the Gunners are favourites with the bookmakers to lift the trophy.
Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool, Manchester City and Newcastle are all set for some blockbuster ties, with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich also among the sixteen teams who will discover their opponents.
Here’s everything you need to know about the draw…
The Champions League last-16 draw takes place at 11am GMT on Friday February 27, 2026.
The draw is being held at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

TV channel: In the UK, the draw will be live on TNT Sports 1.
Live stream: You can also watch the draw online via the Discovery+ app and website with a subscription, as well as on the TNT Sports YouTube channel. The draw also will be streamed live on UEFA’s website, YouTube channel and the Champions League app.
Top eight teams in league phase: Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Tottenham, Barcelona, Chelsea, Sporting, Manchester City
Qualified via play-offs: Atletico Madrid, Newcastle, Bayer Leverkusen, Bodo/Glimt, Galatasaray, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Atalanta
Clubs already know who the opponents they could face in the last 16.
Top seeds Arsenal will be drawn against Bayer Leverkusen or Atalanta.

Tottenham and Liverpool will meet either Atletico Madrid or Galatasaray, while Chelsea face either Newcastle or Paris Saint-Germain.
Manchester City will be drawn against Real Madrid or Bodo/Glimt.
The draw will also plot the fixtures for the remainder of the knockout stages, showing which side of the bracket clubs will be on and allowing fans to map out their route to the final.
Last 16: March 10-11 and 17-18
Quarter-finals: April 7-8 and 14-15
Semi-finals: April 28-29 and May 5-6
Final: May 30
