Hull City and a reprieved Middlesbrough will battle for promotion to the Premier League after Southampton were ejected from the Championship play-off final.
Tonda Eckert’s side had beaten Boro in their two-legged semi-final but have been expelled from the play-offs having admitted spying on their opponents and other clubs during the course of the season.
A last appeal against their sanction failed on Wednesday evening, meaning that the Teessiders now take up a place at Wembley in the lucrative showpiece.
Hull, meanwhile, beat Millwall to reach this stage and must reset quickly after a week of uncertainty over who they would face in the final.
Here’s everything you need to know.
Middlesbrough vs Hull is due to be held at Wembley on Saturday 23 May. Kick off has been set for 3.30pm BST, an hour earlier than had been originally scheduled before Southampton’s expulsion.
