This season’s Premier League net spend picture shows where Leeds United and their rivals landed, after a campaign in which Daniel Farke’s side stayed up with comfort. Leeds finished 14th, eight points clear of West Ham, who went down in 18th.
According to Stake, Arsenal topped the 2025/26 net spend table on £250.1m, ahead of Liverpool on £235m and Manchester United on £166.9m. Tottenham posted £150.4m and Manchester City £135.2m.
Arsenal also won the title for the first time since the unbeaten 2003/04 campaign, seeing off a late City push. Their outlay across the two windows set the pace.
Leeds spent £100.1m and recouped £8.6m, delivering a net spend of £91.5m that placed them 10th. It underpinned a season of mid-table security.
Liverpool’s net figure was £69m higher than United’s, with City just under £100m lower than the Reds. Among the promoted clubs, Sunderland led the way with a £119.9m net spend. Newcastle registered £95.6m despite a difficult year.
