U.S. Men’s National Team head coach Mauricio Pochettino announced his 27-player roster for two March matches in Atlanta, Ga. earlier this week. Now, we know which European stars the USMNT will face on the pitch at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The USMNT’s World Cup-bound opponents, Belgium on March 28 and Portugal on March 31, announced their rosters for the upcoming matches. The roster for Portugal head coach Roberto Martínez includes PSG midfielder João Neves and AC Milan winger Rafael Leão. Kevin de Bruyne, formerly of 2022-23 Champions League winners Manchester City, and his current Napoli teammate Romelu Lukaku, the nation’s leading scorer, feature for Belgium head coach Rudi Garcia.

Notably absent for Portugal is Cristiano Ronaldo. The world-class striker and five-time Ballon d'Or award-winner will not make the trip due to a muscle injury.
