With Europe's top leagues reaching their conclusion the automatic entrants for next season's Champions League league phase have been confirmed.
The Premier League and La Liga will both have five representatives in the league phase, having each been allocated additional places as part ofUEFA's European Performance Spots, based on seasonal coefficient.
Liverpool and Real Betis, who finished fifth in their respective leagues, have benefitted from the additional places.
In Italy, Como have become first-time qualifiers. The ambitious outfit leapfrogged traditional Serie A giants AC Milan and Juventus to secureChampions League football.
It's an incredible achievement from Cesc Fabregas's side, who have never played in European competition in their history and were in the third tier of Italian football when acquired by tobacco giant Djarum in 2019.
AS Roma join them in the Champions League next season with the capital club returning to the competition after a seven-season absence.
Shakhtar Donetsk have been promoted to the league phase. The Ukrainian title winners were due to enter the qualifying rounds, but with this season's finalistsParis Saint-Germain and Arsenal already qualified, another title holder was granted entry.
Shakhtar were the highest-ranked domestic champions from Uefa's club coefficient list, outside the top 10 associations, not to be confirmed for the league phase.
