Leeds United were without Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Jaka Bijol and Sebastiaan Bornauw for the first pre-season run-out against Wrexham in America, with minor issues and knocks keeping the trio out.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Calvert-Lewin had a small pre-season setback that prevented him completing his individual programme. He is currently training separately in camp and building towards rejoining the group and playing.

Bijol has taken a knock to his knee, so was not involved. Bornauw has a very minor issue and was not risked.

Noah Okafor was given extra time off after Switzerland reached the World Cup quarter-finals, and would not feature on the America tour. Players who were at the World Cup would feature later in the trip, explaining absences for Gabi Gudmundsson, Brenden Aaronson and new signing Tarirk Muharemovic from the matchday squad.

Ilia Gruev also sat out as he continues his comeback from a meniscus knee injury.
