Les Bleus were unable to train on the MetLife Stadium pitch on the eve of the match.
According to L'Équipe, World Cup protocols bar training at the match venue the day before.

France held their session at Melanie Rode on the New York Red Bull complex.
That differs from previous editions, when day-before use of the stadium was allowed.
The policy covers every team at this tournament, and France adjusted plans accordingly.
