Francisco Conceição has emerged as the top name Juventus will opt to offload this summer with an eye of UEFA financial regulations, with Manchester United and Liverpool interested.

The Bianconeri are about to unveil Kerim Alajbegović, the teen Bosnian winger who is arriving from Bayer Leverkusen on the back of a €33m deal that could rise up to €40 million in add-ons, and is currently undergoing medical at Continassa.

With the 18-year-old’s arrival, and Khéphren Thuram’s injury problems that have seen him miss The Old Lady’s pre-season tour, Juve have turned to Conceição as a player they can leverage to generate funds in this transfer window, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 23-year-old winger has put up 11 goals and assists each in 82 appearances across all competitions for Juve. His current contract, fetching him a gross annual salary of €7.04 million, currently runs until June 2030.

Juve are looking to get somewhere in the region of €40–50 million for Conceição, who is attracting interest from the Premier League in the shape of Liverpool and Man United, who have made enquiries. This was informed to Juve by Jorge Mendes, who helped them iron out the deal for Alajbegović.

A deal is possible

Once they secure Alajbegović, Juve will have another promising young winger who can operate on either flank and, given his early numbers, have a higher ceiling that his five-years-older Portguese counterpart.

So Juve have litte to no reason not to put “Chico“ up for sale, especially with Premier League interest in the mix. Both United and Liverpool need legs out wide ahead of the new season, and for both of them a €40–50m fee would be near-bargain territory.

If their main targets line up by mid-August, we may see Conceição grace the English shores before the Premier League kicks off.
