OL v Auxerre will kick off at 15.00 on Saturday, an unusual Ligue 1 slot arranged to avoid a clash with a rap festival at the neighbouring LDLC Arena in Décines. The fixture is part of matchday 31.

Originally set for 17.00, beIN Sports' usual window, the game has been brought forward. The LFP said in late March that the change followed public order constraints notified after the initial schedule by the Préfecture du Rhône.

Ligue 1 currently runs one Friday slot at 20.45, three on Saturday at 17.00, 19.00 and 21.05, and three on Sunday at 15.00, 17.15 for the multiplex and 20.45. A Saturday night multiplex is expected to return next season.

Some matches have already been moved to Friday at 19.00 for calendar reasons, but OL and AJ Auxerre will break new ground with a mid-afternoon Saturday kick-off.

The festival, featuring Gazo, Leto, Franglish, Guy2bezbar and Gambi, begins at 19.30 at LDLC Arena, adjacent to Groupama Stadium. The two crowds would have overlapped around the tram linking Lyon to both venues.

This will be the only Ligue 1 match not available free-to-air this weekend, as the Ligue 1+ operation does not extend to the beIN Sports fixture.
