Real Madrid star Arda Güler played no part in his country’s latest outing on Thursday night.

This came as Turkey played host to Hungary in a Nations League clash.

When all was said and done, Vincenzo Montella’s troops emerged on the right side of a 3-1 scoreline, owing to goals on the part of all of Orkun Kökçü, Kerem Aktürkoğlu, and İrfan Can Kahveci.

As alluded to above, though, beloved youngster Güler was not involved in any capacity.

For those not aware of why, the 20-year-old was actually suspended, owing to an accumulation of yellow cards picked up in Nations League play.

Real Madrid and Turkey fans alike, though, need not fret, with Güler set to be available for selection once more on Sunday evening, when he and his fellow countryman make the trip to Hungary for the 2nd leg of the tie between the two countries.
