Everton will welcome Liverpool at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Sunday as they look to secure all three points at home in the Premier League. The Toffees managed to earn a hard-fought 2-2 draw away at Brentford recently, which should keep them in good spirits going into this game.
David Moyes will opt for the 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to keep changes to a minimum for this game. Hence, Beto will once again get the nod to lead the line for the Toffees up top.
Jordan Pickford will operate in between the sticks for the Toffees after he conceded two goals in his last outing. Jarrod Branthwaite will play alongside James Tarkowski at the centre of Moyes’ backline as they hope to keep things solid at the back throughout the game.
Jake O’Brien will try to catch the eye as the right-back, while Vitaliy Mykolenko looks to impress on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to go forward and express themselves inside the opponent’s half.
Michael Keane will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Idrissa Gueye and James Garner will operate as the holding midfielders as they look to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park.
The talented trio of Iliman Ndiaye, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Dwight McNeil will get a chance to play just ahead of them as part of Everton’s attack. All three of them need to be at their best if the Toffees are to secure a positive result in the Merseyside derby this weekend.
Tim Iroegbunam and Tyler Dibling will have to be content with a place on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if needed.
Beto will lead the charge for the home team up top. He has to find a way to cause a few problems for the Liverpool centre-backs this weekend.
Thierno Barry and Tyrique George will be named on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if the Toffees are in need of a goal by then.
