New Auxerre head coach Will Still has opened up about his unconventional path in football and life as he settles into AJA.

According to L'Équipe, he spoke at length on Friday, spending a 90-minute interview without once checking his watch, saying he does fewer interviews now but still enjoys them.

Appointed on 12 June on a two-year deal, the 33-year-old already carries notable experience for his age.

In the club’s communal area, the Belgian-English coach reflected on his story from childhood through to the present day.

Towering at 1.91m, he nonetheless let his guard down and said he has felt different all his life as he prepares for the 2026-2027 season with AJA.
