Belgium kicked off their World Cup qualifying campaign with a draw, and Sweden got a win in a friendly. Uzun and Aaronson will face one another this evening in the USA.
Qualifiers for one, a friendly for the other as two Eagles represented their countries on Friday night. Arthur Theate and Belgium picked up a point to begin their World Cup qualifying campaign, after they let an early lead slip against North Macedonia and ended up drawing 1-1 at the National Arena Todor Proeski in Skopje. Theate came on in the 78th minute for goalscorer Maxim de Cuyper. The Red Devils will be in action once again in Group J on Monday against Wales.
Sweden, meanwhile, picked up a 2-0 win in their friendly against Hungary, with Hugo Larsson playing the full 90 minutes at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest.
