Palmeiras will reconvene on Sunday 21 after the World Cup break, with seven players on international duty. The first half of 2026 brought limited minutes for the club’s academy products.

According to Nosso Palestra, eight youngsters featured in the opening stretch, after Abel Ferreira highlighted a lack of experience in decisive moments in 2025. Left-back Arthur became first choice in the two months before the pause because Piquerez and Jefté were injured.

Across the squad, the heaviest workloads belong to Carlos Miguel on 34 matches and 3060 minutes, Marlon Freitas 35 and 2881, and Gustavo Gómez 33 and 2870. Flaco López has 35 and 2695, Murilo 31 and 2612, and Andreas Pereira 34 and 2451.
