Wolfsburg set to complete €10m signing of centre-back | OneFootball

VfL Wolfsburg are reportedly poised to strengthen their defence before the transfer window closes later on Monday.

According to Sky Germany, Wolfsburg are closing in on a deal to sign Jonas Adjetey from FC Basel for a reported €10 million.

The Ghanaian centre-back is said to be undergoing his medical ahead of the move, with talks reportedly nearing completion.

Wolverhampton, Bologna and Lens have also been linked with the 22-year-old.

Adjetey has made 73 appearances for Basel and has been capped seven times by the Ghanaian national team.
