Wolves alter pre-season as Real Sociedad friendly moved to July 25 | OneFootball

Wolves have reworked their pre-season after their Real Sociedad friendly was brought forward by 72 hours.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, Cesar Peixoto’s team had been due to meet the Basque side on Tuesday, July 28 at Walsall’s Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium.

The game will now be played on Saturday, July 25, with a 5pm kick-off.

Villa had been scheduled to face Sociedad at the venue that day, but the fixtures have been switched following changes to the Premier League club’s planned Asia tour.

Wolves are set to begin pre-season at non-league Maidenhead United on Wednesday, July 22, kick-off 7.30pm.

They will then travel to SC Heerenveen in the Netherlands on Saturday, August 1 at 3pm, a week before the campaign starts with the Carabao Cup first round.

Players not involved at the World Cup are due back for pre-season training in early July.
