Wolves’ Arokodare set for exit as Trabzonspor make loan move | OneFootball

Tolu Arokodare is set to leave Wolves this summer, with Trabzonspor submitting a loan offer and talks under way.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, no agreement has been reached yet, and the 25-year-old’s representatives are involved as they explore a move.

The Nigerian forward joined last summer in a deal worth up to 24 million, but he struggled to adapt, scoring six in 38, three in the Premier League.

A loan is viewed as the likeliest outcome, with Wolves unlikely to receive a sufficient bid to sell and reluctant to take a significant loss after one year.

Arokodare has reported back at Compton this week for pre-season, despite the strong possibility of a departure during the window.

Last season he was involved in a dressing-room bust-up with team-mate Mateus Mane following the 4-0 defeat at West Ham.

He was the sole aggressor and received a heavy club fine, and staff and players were particularly angry during Rob Edwards’ spell in charge.
