Wolves ‘make enquiries’ for Aral Simsir as Villa ‘to bid’ for Ilaix Moriba | OneFootball

Wolves are understood to have asked about Midtjylland winger Aral Simsir, while Aston Villa are targeting Celta Vigo midfielder Ilaix Moriba.

According to Football Insider, Villa plan to test Celta’s resolve with an opening £15m bid.

Simsir was named Danish Superliga Player of the Year last season after registering 12 goals and 21 assists.

Midtjylland are said to have rejected an approach from a Turkish club, and MLS side San Diego FC have also enquired about the 23-year-old Türkiye international.

Moriba, a Guinea international, came through Barcelona’s academy before a move to RB Leipzig, then loans at Valencia, Getafe and Celta Vigo, who signed him permanently last summer.

Celta are thought to be seeking around £25m for the midfielder, having paid £5m to secure him last year.
