Wolves ‘monitor’ Solly March, Celta ‘to seek’ Fer Lopez loan, Villa ‘consider’ Neco Williams | OneFootball

With the EFL over and the Premier League nearing its end, Midlands clubs are shaping early summer moves.

ExpressAndStar.com reports Wolves, West Brom and Aston Villa headline the latest transfer round-up.

Another loan keeping Wolves’ Fer Lopez at Celta Vigo looks most likely. He returned after last summer’s big-money move to Molineux, both parties want him to stay, talks continue and finances and rival interest could decide it.

Wolves are monitoring Brighton winger Solly March, 31, who is out of contract this summer, though Brighton can extend. Injuries have curtailed recent seasons.

Right back Jackson Tchatchoua has fresh interest after a difficult first year. Italian clubs, including Torino, are exploring a loan with option to buy.

Rangers defender Leon King, who spent last season at Ayr United, is being linked with Hearts, who are said to be leading the race, despite Albion interest.

West Brom are credited with interest in Blackburn midfielder Sondre Tronstad, leaving after no new deal. He made over 100 appearances, with Charlton also monitoring.

Former Norwich City midfielder Gabriel Sara, now at Galatasaray, is understood to be open to a return and has been linked with Villa. No offer has been lodged, with a fee of €35-40 million mentioned.

Villa are also weighing a move for Nottingham Forest full back Neco Williams. Forest do not want to sell, will offer improved terms, and the defender is contracted until 2029.
