Championship-bound Wolves may have little more to play for than pride to close out the 2025-26 Premier League season, but the future may still be bright at Molineux.

The bottom club heads into the half-time team talk against visiting Fulham after a goal from US international fullback Antonee Robinson leveled the scoreline at one-all in the third minute of added time, but it was the opener from Portuguese starlet Mateus Mané that may have fans talking.
Mané (19), capped by Portugal's U21 side this calendar year, has equalled the nation's greatest-ever footballer in Cristiano Ronaldo when he opened the scoring against the Cottagers in just the sixth minute.
Per the BBC, Mané's long-range strike saw him become just the second Portuguese teenager to score three or more goals from outside the box in a single Premier League season, equalling Ronaldo's identical effort back in 2003-04.
However, Mané surpassed another Premier League cult hero to gift Robinson his penalty, eclipsing Jonathan Woodgate to become the youngest player to both score and concede a penalty in a league fixture.
Despite the woeful stat, the future no doubt remains bright for the gifted youngster.
