Wolves ‘submit bid’ for Andre Luiz, Sigur link, Lopez update, Villa interest | OneFootball

Wolves have submitted an offer for Olympiacos winger Andre Luiz. According to ExpressAndStar.com, the bid is around £12 million for the 24-year-old right winger, who arrived in Greece in January.

The Brazilian has made 10 appearances with one assist and is under contract until 2030 after impressing at Rio Ave. Olympiacos, owned by Nottingham Forest chief Evangelos Marinakis, are understood to be seeking more, with an unnamed club previously linked at £13.6 million this summer.

Wolves are thought to be closely monitoring Canada international Niko Sigur of Hadjuk Split. The 22-year-old can play in midfield or at right-back and impressed at the World Cup, with Jesse Marsch previously describing his displays as close to flawless. Sigur is valued at about £2.5 million, which would not stretch Cesar Peixoto’s budget.

A permanent return to Celta Vigo for Wolves attacker Fer Lopez is considered unlikely after prolonged talks. The 22-year-old spent last season on loan at his former club, who had explored a permanent deal. Any move is currently described as closed off, and he could feature in pre-season.

Elsewhere, Mikel Arteta’s Premier League champions are being linked with Villa and England defender Ezri Konsa, 28, while they retain a long-standing interest in Morgan Rogers. Villa are also tracking Udinese midfielder Arthur Atta after a breakout season, 28 Serie A outings and six goals in 30 games overall. Atta, 23, previously had a loan at Udinese, has three years left on his deal and has attracted Everton and Fulham.

Villa’s Amadou Onana was dealt a devastating injury blow while playing for Belgium in the tournament this week.
