Wolves 'to move for' Estoril's Jordan Holsgrove, Reece Smith 'set' for Walsall medical | OneFootball

Wolves are considering a move for Estoril midfielder Jordan Holsgrove, Record reports, with the 26-year-old valued at 3million.

Separately, journalist Pete O Rourke reports that Harrogate Town winger Reece Smith is undergoing a medical with Walsall.

The club are said to have enquired about Holsgrove’s availability, and the report also links Charlton Athletic and German clubs Werder Bremen, FC Augsburg and Hamburg. Werder are allegedly still in talks with the Scot, who came through Reading’s academy.

Holsgrove made 35 appearances for Estoril last season, scoring once, and previously had spells at Celta Vigo, Pacos de Ferreira and Olympiacos. He also worked under Wolves head coach Cesar Peixoto at Pacos in 2022-23.

Reports earlier in the summer had linked Smith with Walsall, and the latest update suggests he is close to completing a move to Bescot.

Smith missed Harrogate’s friendlies against South Shields and Doncaster Rovers, with manager Simon Weaver saying his absence was injury-related. The 24-year-old joined Harrogate in summer 2025 after six years at Maidenhead United, where he registered 23 goals and 17 assists in 162 games. He featured 52 times for relegated Harrogate last season, contributing three goals and seven assists.
