Wolves Women sign midfielder Layla Proctor after Plymouth exit | OneFootball

Wolves Women have signed midfielder Layla Proctor after leaving Plymouth.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, the 21-year-old is the latest addition to Dan McNamara’s squad as they rebuild for their debut WSL2 season.

Proctor featured for Plymouth against Wolves in the National League play-off in May, which Wolves won to secure promotion to the second tier.

McNamara said he has known Proctor for a long time and, when the chance arose, the club worked hard to bring her in. He recalled her display in the play-off final, saying she caused Wolves problems, and added he is delighted she has joined.

He believes there is plenty of potential to unlock and, despite her age, she brings experience from abroad and within the UK. McNamara described her as aggressive, driven and determined.
