Preparations for the second season in the ADMIRAL Women's Bundesliga are underway for the FC Red Bull Salzburg women's team. Following their first pre-season training sessions in Rif and at the academy, their first friendly match is scheduled for this week, ahead of the start of competitive action at home in early August.

For the upcoming season, we can rely on many established players from the last campaign, complemented by players from our own youth setup and four new signings:
In addition, the following Future League champions from our previous U20 women's squad are taking the next step up to our Bundesliga team: Annika Bräunlinger (Future League Goalkeeper of the Season), along with Anika Helmer, Maya Lampl and Ajlina Berisha.
We have had a very successful season - we managed to establish ourselves in the league and enabled several of the girls to take the next step in their development. The coaching team did an outstanding job! We want to continue along this path together - while nurturing local talent and working consistently on the team's development. Our goal is to secure a mid-table finish again and perhaps even upset one or two more experienced opponents along the way.
Bernd Winkler, Head of Women's Football
You can sense the great anticipation for the new season, and the team has returned with plenty of energy. Our focus for now is on sharpening our fundamentals - both regarding our style of play and our daily routines. At the same time, we want to quickly integrate the new players and gel as a team once more. Our goal is to build on the progress made last season and take the next steps every day.
Dusan Pavlovic, Head Coach

For the new season, our existing U20 women's team is transitioning into an U18 women's team. This offers an even clearer development pathway from the U16 level to the Bundesliga - one that is also easily compatible with school commitments. The team will continue to compete in the ÖFB Future League, a competition we have won for the past two seasons!
Speaking of youth development: Registration is currently open for our U16 women's trial sessions taking place in August and September. More information is available here:
