Benni McCarthy released on Friday, September 26, the list of players selected for Kenya's final two World Cup qualifiers. The Harambee Stars will face Burundi in Bujumbura on October 9, then Ivory Coast in Abidjan on October 14.

Currently fifth in the group with nine points, Kenya is not among the favorites for direct qualification. These two away matches against Burundi and Ivory Coast will mark the conclusion of the Harambee Stars' World Cup qualifying campaign. The first match will be played at the Intwari Stadium in Bujumbura, while the second will take place at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Abidjan.
