The outstanding performance of Ivory Coast and Tunisia

With just two matchdays left in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, Ivory Coast and Tunisia have yet to concede a single goal. An incredible achievement for both national teams!
Already qualified for the 2026 World Cup, just like Morocco and Egypt, Tunisia stands out for not conceding a single goal throughout its eight matches in Group H.
Before facing São Tomé and Príncipe and Namibia, Tunisia leads Group H with 22 points (7 wins, 1 draw). The Carthage Eagles have scored 13 goals and conceded none. Two goalkeepers have contributed to this impressive run: Aymen Dahmen (4 clean sheets) and Béchir Ben Said (4 clean sheets).
Tunisia is not alone in this feat. Ivory Coast, top of Group F with 20 points (6 wins, 2 draws), hasn't conceded a goal either. The Elephants have found the net 15 times.
However, Emerse Faé's men are not yet certain of a place at the next World Cup, holding just a one-point lead over Gabon. They need to win their last two matches against Seychelles and Kenya.
