Perhaps one of the 2026 World Cup's most exciting group stage finishes sees Scotland take on Brazil for a place in the knockout rounds in Group C. As it stands, both teams will advance, but a win for either would rubber stamp their passage to the next phase.
This matchup is a repeat of the two nations' group stage clash from the 1998 World Cup in France. The five-time champions would ultimately run out 2-1 winners as a César Sampaio strike and Tom Boyd own-goal cancelled out John Collins' first-half penalty.
Tonight, the Tartan Army will look to extract some revenge for that defeat and leap-frog Carlo Ancelotti's men into second-place – with kick-off from 00:00 CET, you can find the confirmed starting lineups below.
Scotland (4-5-1): Gunn – Patterson, McKenna, Hendry, Robertson – Gannon-Doak, Ferguson, McGinn, McTominay, McLean – Shankland
Brazil (4-3-3): Allison --Danilo, Marquinhos, Gabriel, Douglas Santos --Guimares, Casemiro, Paqueta --Rayan, Cunha, Vinicius Jr
