The German national team’s surprising World Cup exit has direct implications for FC Bayern’s transfer plans. Nathaniel Brown’s transfer has been delayed after the Munich club had to adjust its original plan.

The German national team’s elimination in the World Cup round of 32 against Paraguay is not only a disappointment for the DFB, but also has consequences for FC Bayern.

As Sky reports, the record champions have had to make last-minute changes to the upcoming transfer of Nathaniel Brown.

Medical exam will no longer take place in the U.S.

The plan had originally been for the left back to undergo his medical exam while the World Cup was still underway in the U.S. The transfer was then to be officially finalized.

However, due to the DFB team’s early elimination, there has now been a change of plans. According to information from Sky, Brown will instead undergo the medical examinations shortly after his return to Germany.

This does not, however, affect the basic agreement between all parties involved.

According to consistent media reports, FC Bayern and Eintracht Frankfurt have agreed on a total package of up to 55 million euros.

Brown is expected to sign a long-term contract with the German record champions that runs through the summer of 2031.

Brown is considered Kompany’s top transfer target.

The 23-year-old is considered head coach Vincent Kompany’s top transfer target, and Kompany is said to have lobbied intensively in recent weeks to sign the German international.

In Munich, Brown is firmly in the plans for the upcoming season.

With his dynamism, versatility, and attacking style of play, he is expected to strengthen the left side of the defense and take on a key role there in the future.

The delay in the medical exam is therefore likely to be purely organizational. As soon as Brown is back in Germany, the transfer is expected to be finalized quickly and then officially announced.
