The Red Dragons are in fine form in the Championship, and are firmly in contention for a play-off place, as they look to become the first team in English football history to achieve four consecutive promotions.

Phil Parkinson's side are yet to make any signings this window, but have been linked with plenty of names, including a record-breaking deal for Angers striker Sidiki Cherif, who is now headed to Fenerbache.

However, Wrexham are keen to add some reinforcements to their wide areas, and according to journalist Alan Nixon via his Patreon page, they have two right wing-back options on their shopping list in the dying embers of the transfer window.

Their priority target is reportedly Villa's Nedeljkovic, who is currently on loan at Red Bull Leipzig, but Pompey's Devlin is also of interest if they aren't able to land the signing of the Serbian.

After a turbulent start to life in the Championship which cast doubts over Parkinson's future at the club, Wrexham are now absolutely flying, and on course to land themselves a spot in the play-offs.

However, the Welsh club still feel they need some reinforcement before Monday's deadline on the right-hand side of their pitch, and have identified two targets to battle with Issa Kabore, according to the latest reports from Nixon.

Their first choice is said to be Villa prodigy Nedeljkovic, who is currently on loan in the Bundesliga with RB Leipzig. The 20-year-old has played just 19 times for the German side, and his parent club are reportedly keen to see him get more minutes for the rest of the season.

With that in mind, Nixon revealed that Aston Villa would want assurances over his game time at Wrexham, which may be difficult to guarantee given Burkina Faso international Kabore has just returned from injury.

Although Nedeljkovic remains Wrexham's main target, they are also eyeing a late move for Portsmouth star Terry Devlin, should they be unable to reach an agreement with Aston Villa.

Nixon revealed that the Northern Ireland international is also on Parkinson's shopping list in the final days of the transfer window, but a deal could be very difficult to do, given the 22-year-old's importance at Fratton Park.

Devlin has played 23 times in the Championship this season, scoring three times and chipping in with one assist, which has put him on Wrexham's radar after a string of strong performances at right-back.
